Which ratio each hair question depends on
Nothing here is a style guide. Each question below is a question about one of the three ratios, and the ratio is named. This is the data set's own reading of its own numbers — not a universal standard.
- Where is the width on this row? At the forehead: 1.00, level with the cheekbones, and the jaw drops to 0.70. Of the seven rows in the file, heart is the only one where the forehead ratio reaches 1.00.
- A bangs or fringe question. It depends on the forehead ratio, 1.00 — the widest end of this row.
- A length question — long hair or short. It depends on the length ratio, 1.42.
- Anything about the jaw or the lower third. It depends on the jaw ratio, 0.70, which is the narrowest end here.
- A "best hair for a heart face" question. That wording hides all three ratios. Name the one you actually want to move — 1.42, 1.00 or 0.70 — and the question becomes answerable from the file.
No cut names, no styling steps and no claims about how a style will look appear on this page. The file carries ratios, not instructions, and nothing is invented to fill the gap.

Same four rows, same single file. Reading down the jaw column of that file leaves one row at the bottom: 0.70 is the lowest jaw ratio of the seven — every other row keeps its jaw at least 0.72 against the cheekbone. That is the geometry behind the lower-third hair questions on this page.
Heart hair questions
Are the hair questions the same for a heart face shape as for a diamond one?
No — they hang on different ratios. Heart puts the forehead at 1.00, level with the cheekbones; diamond puts it at 0.74. The jaw is close in both, 0.70 against 0.72.
What can this page tell me that a style guide cannot?
